Choose and Book (booking your hospital appointment yourself)

You have a choice of any hospital in the UK for your medical care.  We pass all our referrals to a 'Choice and Booking Service' who contact you to discuss when are where you would like to be seen.  You can choose the shortest waiting list, the nearest hospital or a specific service.  They are here to help you get the right care for you.

Missed Appointments

Every day we receive notice of people who have not turned up for an appointment at the hospital.  There can be some very good reasons for this but often there is not.  If you do not want to attend a hospital appointment then please let our receptionists know and we will check firstly to make sure your not placing yourself in danger and then arrange for the appointment to be used for someone else.  We are always told when someone misses an appointment and it forms part of your medical records.
